25 years building enterprise software. Now bringing that experience directly to businesses that are ready to put AI to work.
Enterprise experience. Small business focus.
I've spent my career at the intersection of software engineering and commercial outcomes, building the kinds of systems that power how large organizations actually operate. Over the past several years, I led teams delivering generative and agentic AI, digital product improvements, and measurable growth outcomes at enterprise scale. The results were real: an 86% increase in revenue per visitor year over year, a 67% conversion lift through AI-powered chat, and 5x engagement compared to the rest of the site. Those aren't projections — they're outcomes.
Along the way, I helped transform a monolithic enterprise e-commerce platform into a cloud-native architecture running on Kubernetes, Kafka, and Akamai, supporting 99.995% uptime at global scale. I've managed hybrid engineering teams across five countries and shipped products recognized with two Webby Award honors. I'm also an active practitioner of Generative Engine Optimization — the craft of structuring content and systems to perform in AI-driven search, not just traditional SEO.
I started Open Horizon Advisors because I kept noticing the same thing: the gap between what large enterprises could deploy with AI and what a local business could access was closing faster than most people realized. The tools are here. The models are capable. What's missing for most small businesses is practical guidance from someone who has led this kind of work in the real world and can help them navigate it without the enterprise overhead.
"I've spent 25 years doing at enterprise scale what small businesses can now access. The gap has never been smaller. I started OHA to close it."
Outside of OHA, I volunteer as a Teaching Assistant with the TEALS Program through Microsoft — working in classrooms to bring computer science education to students who wouldn't otherwise have access to it. I also mentor students in higher education through CodePath, giving them experience and training in preparing to enter the workforce. I went to Baylor University, and I'm a continuous learner: my current certifications include work in Agentic AI, MCP, and RAG architectures because the field moves fast and I believe in keeping pace.
If you're a business owner who wants to understand what AI can actually do for your operations — not a demo, not a buzzword, but a real conversation — I'd like to talk to you.
